Prophecy to Rack Up Strike Chain with Razer
Team Razer sponsors UK Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 team Prophecy
Carlsbad, Calif. – April 27, 2012 Razer, one of the world’s pioneering supporters of e-Sports and European Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 specialists, is excited to announce that Prophecy will be marching onto the battlefield with Razer after signing a coalition that will see the group of four sharpshooters become Team Razer’s first Call of Duty: MW3 console squad.
Prophecy, which was formed last year under Team Infused, has achieved numerous podium finishes in competitions across Europe, with one of its latest being a 3rd place finish at the European Gaming League 5 in April. Prophecy also holds the all-time record for the highest ever finish by a European team at an MLG event in the Call of Duty series.
The linchpin of the four-man squad is Tom “Gunshy” Jones, who has remained in the lineup since its inception, and is possibly the highest-achieved European console gamer to date. In addition, Prophecy recently secured the services of community star Ashley “Sowerz” Sowersby, who is renowned for his dualtages and game-play commentaries.
