RAZER AND QUANTIC GAMING PAVE WAY FOR SUCCESS

Razer and Quantic Gaming to provide continued, extensive support to North American and International e-Sports scene

Carlsbad, Calif. – December 17th, 2011 – Razer, one of the world’s pioneering supporters of e-Sports, and Quantic Gaming, successful US-based pro-gaming organisation, have formed a partnership to continue support for and strengthen North American and worldwide e-Sports.

Having found its beginnings as a small group of friends playing Battlefield back in early 2010, Quantic Gaming has since turned into one of the forerunners for American e-Sports, boasting a plethora of competitive pro-gaming teams across consoles and PC gaming, hauling a total of five first place MLG titles, earning themselves a spot among the respected in the world of e-Sports.

“Quantic has taken massive strides since their creation to become a key player in the professional gaming scene, visible now through their high quality rosters,” said Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, President, Razer USA. “At Razer we’re proud to support e-Sports teams like Quantic who share the same passion and ambition as we do across multiple games and platforms and we look forward to seeing them dominate.”

Quantic’s successful teams include the popular StarCraft II side, boasting acclaimed personalities such as Johan “NaNiwa” Lucchesi, Kim “SaSe” Hammar and Steven “Destiny” Bonnell II, while their Call of Duty lineup includes infamous names such as Patrick “Aches” Price, Blake “Vengeance” Campbell, and Tyler “TeePee” Polchow.

In addition, Quantic supports a roster of title-hungry teams, including their multi-championship Call of Duty console squad, with multiple recent MLG victories including the 2011 Nationals in Providence and have established themselves as one of the best in their field. Quantic is also home to top PC contenders, including the top US Team Fortress 2 team and a highly proven Battlefield Bad Company 2 and now Battlefield 3 squad. Besides these teams, with the continued support of Razer, Quantic will be looking to add high profile teams and players from several other games and genres as part of their expansion plans for 2012.

“It’s important that our industry can give support to talented players and teams the way Razer does,” said Mark Ferraz, CEO and Founder of Quantic Gaming. “We feel that Razer stands apart from its competition, not only in the quality of the products it produces, but especially in its approach to the support of worldwide e-Sports. Many of our top players already enjoy using Razer products, so we feel this was both an easy and comfortable move for us.”

“I’ve been using the Razer Lycosa, Razer Ironclad and Razer DeathAdder for about 6 months, and Razer products in general for about 5 years,” said Johan “QuanticNaNi” Luchessi. “I really like Razer products because you can tell they’ve been designed with pro-gamers in mind. To put it bluntly, their peripherals are all just top-notch.”
