Taiwanese League of Legends Team joins Team Razer
Taipei, Taiwan – 5th May, Saturday – Razer, one of the world's pioneering supporters of e-Sports, is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Taipei Assassins, one of the leading e-Sports team in Taiwan, as part of Razer's commitment to promote pro-gaming in the region.
Previously known as FTW, the Taipei Assassins has been a solid contender in the Asian League of Legend scene and they are renowned in the Taiwan gaming scene due to their dedication and outstanding skill level.
“Taipei Assassins achieved a series of remarkable results in the recent past and they became an obvious choice for Razer to support,” said Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, President of Razer USA. “They are an excellent example of combination of expertise and commitment that we are looking for and we are thrilled to have them on board.”
Led by team leader “Mistake”, Taipei Assassins won the G1 Champion in 2011, defeating the other 150 teams and represented Taiwan in the 2011 WCG. With Razer’s support, Taipei Assassins will be given an unfair advantage against the other countries’ contestants during the Garena Premier League.

The Taipei Assassins (台北暗殺星) is officially formed in March, 2012. Formally known as FTW (For The Win), Taipei Assassins consists of Mistake, Stanley, Colalin, NeXAbc and LilBallz. The team has won the championship of League of Legends in the 2011 G1 tournament held by Garena. Garena noticed their outstanding performance and signed the team along with Bebe and Toyz, and they will be representing Taiwan to participate in the Garena Premier League in May 2012.
