TEAM RAZER TAKES SOLOMID SUPREMACY
Razer announces new partnership with top North American League of Legends team and website, Team SoloMid

Carlsbad, Calif. – Aug. 30, 2012 – Razer, one of the world’s pioneering supporters of e-Sports, and Team SoloMid, one of the world’s premier League of Legends teams and long-term rivals of Counter Logic Gaming, have formed a partnership to boost Razer’s already dominant presence in North American and international League of Legends.
With some of the world’s most talented League of Legends players led by Team Captain and Founder Andy “Reginald” Dinh, Team SoloMid teamed up with Razer to further develop the brand’s e-Sports initiatives, with the team focusing on more international events and additional support for its already thriving League of Legends portal at SoloMid.net and TSM Invitational. Recently, Team SoloMid took gold at major events, including IPL 4, IPL Face Off San Francisco, the MLG Spring Championships and MLG Providence.
“Team SoloMid represents the rapid growth of e-Sports and League of Legends in the last two years,” said Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, president of Razer USA. “They have continued to show outstanding results in what is an incredibly competitive discipline, and we look forward to players of this caliber lending their expertise to develop Razer’s next wave of peripherals.”
The partnership will see Razer investing in the SoloMid team long-term, with continued support for the League of Legends scene and for the world’s best e-Sports personalities. Additionally, Team SoloMid will contribute educational content to the Razer Academy for aspiring League of Legends players. The first campaign of the partnership will begin at PAX Prime, where SoloMid will compete at the RIOT League of Legends Season 2 North American Regionals, Aug. 31, 2012 through Sept. 2, 2012.
